Gricelda is a San Diego and Tijuana native with a bicultural background and cross-border experience. She obtained a B.A. in International Economics and Spanish from San Diego State University. She studied abroad at Oxford University in England to enhance her studies in International Relations and Political Science. She also experienced living in Barcelona, Spain where she expanded her knowledge of Spanish business, language, and culture.

Before joining the Office of Supervisor Nora Vargas, Gricelda served as the founder and CEO of Deco Home Staging. This small business was known for offering real estate industry professionals premier services and helping clients increase the ROI on their properties and sell their homes faster and for a premium price. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, she worked in bilingual customer service and directed customer relations for Northwestern Mutual. 

Gricelda values equality, growth, and creativity and is passionate about moving barriers, thinking outside the box, and serving her community. She is known for her attention to detail and highly personable and professional nature which helps her to establish trusting relationships. Her mission is to serve her community and promote equity, growth, and opportunity for all.
