Dennise Juarez Aguilar is a dedicated public service professional and a first-generation student born in Tijuana, Mexico. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies from San Diego State University in 2024. Dennise currently serves as a Constituent Services Representative for the Office of Chairwoman Nora Vargas in District 1, where she works to improve the efficiency of the office and advocate for the needs of her community.
Throughout her undergraduate career, Dennise was deeply involved in leadership roles focused on community outreach and advocacy. She served as a Leadership Consultant at the Glazer Center for Leadership & Service and held multiple leadership positions, including Secretary and Community Chair of the Public Administration Club. As a student advocate, Dennise lobbied for legislation supporting students and women’s rights, and she volunteered with organizations like ProduceGood to address food insecurity in local communities.
Driven by a passion for equitable access to education, Dennise remains committed to breaking down barriers for underserved communities and is particularly focused on creating inclusive opportunities for first-generation students. She has received several honors, including the César Chávez Commemorative Scholarship and the Carole Robasciotti Endowed Internship Scholarship.
Outside of her professional work, Dennise enjoys photography, capturing moments from her travels and road trips. She also has a love for exploring new places and immersing herself in different cultures. Dennise plans to continue her studies with a Master’s in Public Administration to further her career and deepen her impact on public service and community development.
